It’s that time again! Reality Tea’s Booze ‘N Books Club! With zillions of reality stars – and new ones popping up every second – and each one with something to sell, we here at Reality Tea decided to test out some of these fetes of literary greatness. And what goes better with books that are badly written than cocktails? So we thought we’d try something fun and review some of these gems!

Each month Reality Tea will be reviewing both a book and a cocktail. Last month we reviewed Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson’s book  More Than A Housewife: Talent! Purpose! Direction! Drive! along with her Wines By Wives club, her joint venture with Tamra Barney.

August was all about the Housewives of Atlanta – Kim Zociak, Nene Leakes and Cynthia Bailey.  We gave Mary a month off from ‘testing’, as we don’t want to pay for her rehab nor be forced to co-author her memoir “Will Blog For Booze” and since I love me some cheap wine moscato, I took one for the team!

THE BOOZE:  Kim Zolciak’s Viva Moscato & Cynthia Bailey’s PT Sparkling Rose Moscato

I have to preface this review with a confession that I am not a “real” wine lover. At all.  I’ve attended wine tastings and “classes” to learn to appreciate it, but I just can’t.  It dries out my sinuses, gives me a headache and just generally tastes bad.  About a year ago I tried a moscato and fell in love.  Everyone teases me that it’s not “real wine”, but I’m okay with it because I’m not alone in my love for this sweet and fruity wine-cooler-like wine, as moscato sales skyrocketed by 78% last year!  Clearly I’m not the only fan club member.

Since Kim Zolciak’s Viva Moscato (above) came in so many flavors, (Raspberry, Peach, Strawberry, Mango and a few more coming soon!), we felt it would only be a true test if we tried them all.  In the name of thorough research and all.

Each one of the flavors was light and not overpowering at all.  They weren’t overly fruity, but definitely sweet. Each one of the flavors were almost dangerously light.

Strawberry was the clear winner in our group, but when it came to the mango flavor it was girls vs. boys.  The girls were loving the mango while the men refused to even finish more than a few sips. Peach and Raspberry were surprisingly good, too.  I don’t recommend sampling all the flavors like we did unless your order of the night is a sugar coma.  They were great, but because they are so light, you might find yourself tipping them back a little too fast.

To mix things up, Kim’s brand has some interesting recipes on their website.  My recommendation: Kim’s Ultimate Mango Mimosa!

After a few palette cleansers, up next up was Cynthia Bailey’s PT Sparkling Rose Moscato.

PT Sparkling Rose Moscato came in with a higher alcohol content and tasted less fruity and sweet than the Viva Moscato.  The flavor was somewhere in the middle of a strawberry and raspberry.  Cynthia’s moscato is more wine than wine cooler.  Bubbly, but a little more ‘serious’.

Hmm..interesting that their wines are similar to their personalities.

Rating:  Both are perfect for those who want a sweet sparkling wine that’s light on the alcohol.  Grab a few bottles to share with your girlfriends while kicking back and watching a marathon of old Real Housewives of Atlanta episodes.  We’re still holding out hope that Nene’s moscato will show up on store shelves one of these days!

THE BOOK:  Nene Leakes “Never Make the Same Mistake Twice”

Nene’s book is probably considered an “oldie” already since it came out back in 2009.  When it was written, she had just finished season 1 and had signed on for season 2 of RHOA.  She wrote the book in Nene-speak, which I love.  It’s as if she’s reading it to you – you can picture every finger wag and facial expression.

Nene covers a wide array of events in her past and makes no excuses for them.  She shares abuse growing up, getting arrested, stripping, meeting Gregg, how she landed her spot on Real Housewives of Atlanta and more.

Nene wanted to share that there is much more to her than what we see in one hour snippets each week on RHOA.  She sums it up well in chapter 10 where she talks about watching herself on the show the first night it aired and how she initially tried to be something she wasn’t (June Cleaver) in the first few days of taping and then gave up and just let the real Nene fly.  And we’re grateful for that.

On the other facets of her life: “The truth of the matter is that drama sells.  No matter how much people claimed they were embarrassed by my in-your-face personality, they love to hear about my drama.  Nobody wants to see me going out and starting a business, or having lunch with my kids, or cleaning the bathroom and cooking dinner. But I do these things.  And anyone who says she cares to read about me doing those things is lying.  Celebrities with no drama get no play and they don’t last. Period. ”

Nene is wise.

Rating:  An honest look back at the events that shaped her life.  If you want a peek at what made Nene the sassy, larger-than-life personality she is today, you’ll want to check out this book.  At just 228 pages, it’s a quick and easy read.

Are they or aren’t they?  It’s the age old question when discussing Real Housewives of Atlanta’s NeNe and Gregg Leakes marriage…or divorce.  Maybe.

Apparently, NeNe declared “I’m divorced” on the Season 4 reunion, but that clip never aired.  It’s no secret that at the end of last season, things weren’t looking very good for the couple.  However, according so some sources, a reconciliation may be in the works for NeNe and Gregg.

An insider tells WetPaint.com, “Gregg has been taping regularly for season five.  He’s not missing in action at all. He’s definitely part of the new season.”

The source continues, “I think this season will be make or break for them. They’re going to see if they’re better off apart or together. That will be a big part of NeNe’s storyline on the show — whether or not she and Gregg get back together.”

If NeNe and Gregg do reconcile, they will join a slew of happy couple cast mates.  The show insider reveals, “Despite their issues, Cynthia [Bailey] and Peter [Thomas] are hanging in there and doing much better. Kim [Zolciak] and Kroy [Biermann] are in total nesting mode waiting for the new baby and Phaedra [Parks] and Apollo [Nida] are always having fun.”

Maybe there is a chance for NeNe and Gregg.  The Hollywood Reporter shares that NeNe was in attendance at the NBC’s Television Association of Critics Party (and stayed longer than most!).  The soiree was to introduce NBC’s new fall stars, and as we all know NeNe will have a recurring role in the new sitcom The New Normal.  Now, who was NeNe’s date to said shindig?  The site reports that Gregg was by NeNe’s side most of the night, even making sure she was never without a cocktail.  Could they be rekindling their romance?  I certainly hope so!

Kim Zolciak’s Twitter was far too quiet yesterday, leading me to wonder if she had gone into labor.  Two points for me – she had her baby yesterday! Kim gave birth to her fourth child, another boy.

Kim and husband Kroy Biermann welcomed their second son together.  Proud papa Kroy shared the happy news on Twitter - including their new son’s name.

Ever since the fourth season of Real Housewives of Atlanta ended the buzz has been about producers adding two new Housewives – one tall, one small to the cast. While Kenya Moore has long been identified as the Team Tall addition, a bandy of names have been flying across the gossip channels (touting everyone imaginable who lives nearish to ATL) about who will be the second newcomer.

Well it would appear that Porsha Williams Stewart is has officially signed onto the show as the new lady!

First reporting on Porsha’s new job is StraightFromTheA, who insists that she is definitely the newest castmember. Other sites have said contracts have been signed. SFTA reveals that producers approached several ladies looking for the “It Factor” but no one seemed to work out. And then they met Porsha and signed her right away.

The rumor of Porsha’s addition to the cast is so concrete that even some of the more major tabloids are confirming her. In Touch Weekly is listing Porsha as the newest lady on the block after she was spotted attending Cynthia Bailey‘s P.T. Rose Moscato party.

CHECK OUT REALITY TEA’S REVIEW OF CYNTHIA’S MOSCATO! 

Apparently producers felt the need to really turn up the drama and are looking for a classy yet sassy lady to replace Kim Zolciak who will have an “extremely limited role” in this season’s show thanks to her second pregnancy and her desperate attempt to get a permanent spinoff.

In fact, SFTA claims that the reason this season is taking so long to film is actually Kim! The rumor is that NeNe other castmembers were annoyed by the special circumstances Kim was receiving, so they “banded together and REFUSED to tape until Bravo gave them some specifics on Kim’s role this season.” Speaking of Kim… she just had another baby!

Now back to the specifics on Porsha. First of all, she actually IS a Housewife and is married to Kordell Stewart, a retired NFL player who played 11 seasons most recently with the Pittsburgh Steelers. The two tied the knot last year. A video of their wedding is below.

Secondly, Porsha is an Atlanta native (unlike Kenya who reportedly relocated to join the cast) and currently lives in Buckhead, GA – a suburb.

As for her pedigree, Porsha is the granddaughter of legendary civil rights leader Rev. Hosea Williams. She is also very active in the church and her grandfather’s philanthropic organization. Hopefully this means she’ll stay above the fray (re: not sinking to any NeNe Leakes levels of trashiness).

SFTA also reports that Porsha has been taping with the cast for about a month and so far, so good. She apparently attended the 2012 Runway Red Safari Wonderland Kid’s Fashion Show with NeNe, Cynthia, and Phaedra Parks. Photos of the ladies attending the event are available at SFTA.

Also at the event with NeNe was Gregg Leakes! Their reconnection is a rumored storyline this season, but it seems like they were never all that separated to begin with despite their divorce. Speaking of NeNe, In Touch reports that “Kim and NeNe are still not speaking, so these two will add some very needed new drama and storylines.”

As for other rumors, apparently Kenya will be replacing Marlo Hampton and NeNe of season’s yore as the “bitch” character since NeNe is looking to class up her image. And although Marlo will make an appearance or two she is not part of the show in any significant way. Kenya has been brought on to stir the pot and bring the drama!

All of this is sounding great and I’m hopeful Porsha will help move this show in a more positive and interesting direction. I am tired of the over-wrought drama and the totally tasteless behavior on Housewives!

Oh, sweet mercy. Kim Zolciak Biermann has gotten two gifts this month: a beautiful new son and a lawsuit from her own mom! Karen Zolciak, who we previously saw getting thrown out of Kim's $1M wedding on Don't Be Tardy For The Wedding is tired of her daughter excluding her from her family.

In retaliation she is taking her daughter to court and demanding she get visitation with Kim's kids! I wonder if the wig collection is also included in the custody decree? 

TamraTattles originally broke the story and discovered that on Tuesday, Aug 28th Karen filed a suit in Fulton Superior Court seeking visitation rights over her granddaughters. The Biermann boys are not included in the filing.

Karen filed "pro se" meaning without a lawyer. According to the filing Karen "is seeking the right to regularly see her granddaughters, who are the daughters of Kim Zolciak Biermann, who is a star on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta."

"The girls live such a crazy, abnormal life being on T.V., they need a normal haven to relax and unwind and just be kids. Plaintiff was portrayed as a bad person on defendant’s show Don’t Be Tardy for the Wedding which featured defendant’s wedding to Kroy Biermann. In addition, plaintiff claims she has not seen defendant’s new baby since he was born.”

It appears that Karen hasn't seen Brielle, 16, and Ariana, 12, since Kim's 11-11-11 wedding where she was unceremoniously escorted out in a golfcart after being derided by the groom. Yes, Karen was acting crazee too. 

I can see Karen's point, in the first three seasons of RHOA Kim's parents seemed very involved in her girls' lives and were often at Kim's house. There did not seem to be any strife between Kim and her mom – at least not portrayed on the show. Enter Kroy Biermann, a spinoff, and a huge over-blown Bravo wedding and all the sudden Karen is pushed to the sidelines.

Maybe that's not what happened, but it's sure what it looks like to this viewer's eyes. I mean all the sudden, Kim's wigs and her rented mansion (that she since was evicted from) seemed way more important as she desperately tried to escape her Big Poppa funded past! 

So the big question is: DOES Karen have legal grounds? According to TamaraTattles (who contacted a legal advisor), possibly if she is able to prove “a history of previous regular visitation.” Which may explain why her petition only lists Kim's daughters. Georgia's Grandparents rights law stipulates that Karen will have a difficult case without proof of previous financial support and because Kim is still very much alive. 

However – neither girl lives with their legal father – or even legally HAS a father – and Kroy has not adopted them. Brielle and Ariana's father is currently in prison on child molestation charges and Kim cut off all contact. 

Kim previously resided with her parents while she was unmarried (pre-Big Poppa) and her mom helped care for the girls. All of these things could factor favorably into Karen's case. 

The interesting thing will be how the girls react. They are both old enough to have independent relationships with their grandmother and advocate for or against that relationship. 

Another interesting thing, this is all happening in the middle of filming for the fifth season of RHOA, where it has been widely reported that Kim pretty much lacks a storyline other than her pregnancy. Which is something we already saw last season. So, I wonder if this will be featured in the show? 

Kim has not addressed the matter on Twitter.

TELL US – DOES KAREN HAVE A RIGHT TO SEEK GRANDPARENT'S VISITATION? IS THIS A PUBLICITY STUNT FOR S5?

After altercations with former bestie NeNe Leakes, her cray-cray mother, and her former landlady, Real Housewives of Atlanta's Kim Zolciak Biermann may be in need of a little downtime.  Oh, and I didn't even mention she just gave birth to Kash Kade on August 15…bringing her household headcount to six!

It will probably come to no surprise to you, dear readers, in light of the success of Don't Be Tardy for the Wedding and the addition of the recent bouncing baby boy that joins last year's bouncing baby K.J. and two teen half sisters, Kim is going to be cutting back on RHOA.

Dare I say it?  I think Kim's priorities have actually changed, and she's determined to be more of a mother and a wife to Kroy Biermann than a reality television star and aspiring singer (God, we can hope on that one, right?).  The mother of four tweeted on August 26, "I have a little break from filming since I had the baby but back at it soon enough!! so u will get to see just how cray cray my house is!"

Of course, by house, she isn't referring to the rented mansion we got to see on DBTFTW…but you knew that, didn't you? 

While Kim may have taken a break from filming, she certainly hasn't slacked off on losing her baby weight.  She is determined to get back in tip top shop shape as soon as she possible can.  Kim has reached out to her followers for training recommendations, tweeting on Monday, "I have a ton of research to do on all the tweets I got today abt atlanta based trainers!!! Thank you tweethearts for ur help!"

However, from the looks of it, Kim doesn't need a new trainer…her oldest daughter Brielle tweeted the picture posted above on Saturday with the caption,  "seriously… who looks like this after 2 weeks of having a baby?"  I tend to agree, unless Kim is mah-jah-ly sucking it all in!

There is a lot happening in the lives of the Real Housewives of Atlanta stars.  Kim Zolciak has finally unveiled baby pictures of new addition Kash Kade, and it seems the family has purchased a new home.  No more Big Poppa livin'?  It's the end of an era!

Meanwhile, as Kim focuses on being a happy wife and mother, NeNe Leakes has her eye on the prize…and that prize isn't starring on RHOA.  Has NeNe been bitten hard by the acting bug?

First up, Kim recently shared her family time with Life & Style (shocking, I know), revealing that everything about new son Kash is perfect.  She says, "It was the easiest pregnancy out of all of them! I had a couple of weeks in the beginning that were really rough, but then it was great."

Motherhood totally suits Kim, and she tells the magazine, "I love it. There's nothing else in the world like it. I'm just at peace. I was never out there searching for something, but there was always kind of a missing piece, and I have it all now. I literally have everything."

As you could guess, Kim certainly isn't opposed to adding to her family, revealing, "Kroy [Biermann] wants a football team! He'd have me pregnant forever. I couldn't say no — or keep my hands off my husband."

Hopefully, the growing brood will have plenty of space for a large family as they have apparently moved out of Big Poppa's house…finally.  Kim tweeted, “Busy day! lunch w/ my docs wife, hubbys fam in town, went to our new house, groceries, chased KJ around, fed Kash 10x, dropped Elle off at work! Goodnight!,” followed by a post from eldest daughter Brielle, “So excited for our new house!! #sobeautiful."

While Kim is experiencing domestic bliss, NeNe is finding excitement in Hollywood…not Atlanta.  Starring in NBC's The New Normal, Perez Hilton reports that NeNe is ready to hang up her reality hat.  She says, "I love the acting world. So at some point. . . I can’t continue to be a Housewife. At some point, I have to back out."

NeNe explains, "Just the thought of me being a Housewife, they [casting producers] would probably say 'Hmmm. We may not want to use her.' Just the whole persona of being a Housewife. The cattiness and the bitchiness and the fighting. People see you as that is who you are."  NeNe makes a valid point, although one could argue that over the past seasons of RHOA the Neenster has personified the cattiness and the bitchiness and the fighting!

And what is the Bravo franchise without all the drama?  Rumor has it the women are taking a trip to Vegas this season.  There has been a lot of activity in the RHOA Twitterverse in the last week from members of the cast.  On Friday, NeNe wrote, "Well hello Vegas," with Kandi Burruss tweeting on Saturday, “What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. So they say…….”  Not tweeting from Vegas?  Kim.  She really hates a girls' trip these days, doesn't she?

Well, they're back and they're down one blonde wig! That's right Real Housewives of Atlanta returns Nov 4th featuring two new Housewives and no Kim Zolciak! At least not in the official cast photo. 

Bravo just announced the return of its most popular franchise (yes – it beats Jersey) and there are some exciting new ventures on the horizons. On-screen besties NeNe Leakes and Cynthia Bailey are both back. As are Phaedra Parks and Kandi Burruss. As previously leaked (in what is the worst kept secret is Atlanta) Kenya Moore joins the cast. And the other new Housewife is for-real Atlanta socialite Porsha Stewart!

Surprisingly missing is of course Kim! Who is not included in the official cast photo, but is listed as a Housewife. Rumors were abound that she was basically non-existant during filming because of her pregnancy and the other women started protesting her lack of involvement. Rumor has it this spawned Bravo to reduce her role in the series. Kim hasn't been tweeting about the new release date. Perhaps this means her spin-off is a permanent deal and she'll be lessening her role as a Housewife in exchange for her role as a housewife. 

NeNe was all to happy too announce on twitter that she was the "The only original standing. That should tell you a lot." I see she's let go of grudges. "Big surprises coming this season on the housewives! Tune n & get the truth! If they don't show it, I'll tell ya!" she also wrote.

So what can we expect this season? Drama. Plenty o Drama! Do they sell that somewhere? Maybe Kroger? "New ventures, sizzling romance, a whole lotta donkey booty, and two new Housewives arrive to turn up the heat in Hotlanta," Bravo promises.

"NeNe as she embarks on a new adventure as a rising star in Hollywood. In the love department, NeNe flirts with the idea of rekindling a romance with her ex, Gregg, meanwhile, new love is in the air for Kandi who has recently found herself a man.

Focused on their expanding businesses, Cynthia dabbles into the world of pageants and Phaedra decides to create a fitness video all about achieving that signature 'donkey booty.'

Our recently married Housewife Kim is also busy expanding her family, but manages to make it out for the ladies' events — even ones where NeNe is the guest of honor. Will these two ever make up or will she further distance herself from the group in favor of her family and man?

New Housewives Kenya and Porsha also join the mix and waste very little time stirring things up among this group of southern ladies.

I truly miss my love She by SheBroke and I certainly hope she'll be making a cameo (or 50). ATL just isn't the same without her fantasy Chateaus, and her pretend millions, and her repo'd cars, and her stunning fashion lines.

If you had told me when Real Housewives of Atlanta started that NeNe Leakes would be the breakout star, I would totally have agreed with you.  However, if you had told me she would segue her Bravo gig into a legitimate acting career, I would have pointed you in the direction of the nearest loony bin.  Clearly, I was wrong.

NeNe is now commuting between Atlanta and Los Angeles where she is filming the NBC sitcom The New Normal.  She's no longer screaming in Kim Zolciak's face.  Instead she's trading jokes with The Ellen Barkin.  So, it begs the question…will NeNe be a reality star or an actress?  NeNe seems conflicted herself.

NeNe tells EOnline, "I don't know how much longer I'm going to do Housewives."

Of course, she is listening to E!'s main man as well.  Ryan Seacrest doesn't think that NeNe needs to hang up her reality hat just quite yet.  She shares his advice, telling the site, "[Ryan] said, 'I think you should do it as long as you possibly can. He said, 'You should do it till you can't do it anymore.' I thought that was great advice from some who has a lot of money."

NeNe, not surprisingly has quite the sense of humor regarding her now even busier schedule.  She jokes, "I don't want to just be working. I want to get laid every now and then—just kidding."  Sure you are, Neenster.  Sure you are.

While RHOA's resident outspoken housewife can find something negative to say about all of her Bravo cast mates, she couldn't be more thrilled with her NBC co-stars.  NeNe shares, "We've become like a little family. We all get along really well. I laugh a lot with Justin Bartha, and Ellen Barkin has become a good girlfriend. She's outspoken and I love that."

When speaking to VH1, NeNe is equally as wishy washy.  She admits, “I haven’t decided, but I will tell you this: I’m very loyal to Bravo, and I will continue to do both shows for as long as my schedule allows it.”

NeNe continues, “When you are a good person, good things happen for you."

I think all of this talk begs the question…is there a RHOA without NeNe?  I don't know.  I feel like all of the shows could be recast and be fine, but I do think, like it or not, that she totally carries her franchise.

Don't Be Tardy For…  uuuuh… the Weave Convention? Kim Zolciak was conspiciously absent from the season 5 Real Housewives of Atlanta promo photos after several rumors maintained that she was largely absent from filming obligations. Well apparently it's because the former Real Housewife turned real housewife has landed herself a permanent spinoff!

Kim will definitely be present in season 5 of RHOA, but sparingly according to TMZ. Instead Kim was granted her own show which has already started filming in Georgia. Don't Be Tardy For The Wedding was a surprising ratings hit for Bravo last season – probably because of the much-anticipated wig removal and apparently good things come to those who wait! 

Well, congratulations Kim!

TELL US – WILL YOU BE WATCHING KIM'S NEW SHOW?

Wow.  Give a girl a sitcom with actual accomplished actors who have been honing their craft for years and she will totally forget from where she came.  Here's a quick reminder–NeNe Leakes, you are from a Bravo reality show in Atlanta!  You may want to start practicing that humility that your real television star cast mates (you know, the ones who don't do reality television) have always shown.

NeNe has been talking a lot lately about how she may be finished with Real Housewives of Atlanta sooner rather than later so people will consider her to be a legitimate actress who isn't best known for cattiness and girl fights.  I have a crazy, out-there plan.  Don't be catty and instigate girl fights, and you'll probably do just fine!

The Examiner shares some NeNe-isms from her recent Wendy Williams interview where NeNe shares her take on the new additions to RHOA and her excitement that Kim Zolciak is on the way out now that she has her own spin-off.  When asked if beauty queen Porsha Stewart was going to "bring it" on the upcoming season, NeNe asks, "Bring what ? She's from the D [Detroit] and I’m from the A [Atlanta]. Kenya [Moore] is on the show and she is definitely entertaining.  [Porsha] does have a crown, but I have a light."  Um, what?

So Kenya is entertaining, but I'm still not sure about Porsha.  Neither is Wendy.  When she asks if Porsha is mean or catty or big on civil rights, NeNe vaguely replies, "Maybe a little bit of both. I think it's going to be entertaining…most people don't [know her]."  Yikes.  I guess we have pinpointed who NeNe is going to go up against this coming season!

When questioned about her former bestie/current nemesis Kim being absent from RHOA's promotional photo, NeNe says, "I was very proud when I saw it. These are the first brown girls. We always had a little vanilla in there."  Say what you will, but that Neenster has always been quite the wordsmith!

Speaking of Kim, while she is accustomed to sharing pretty much everything about her life with her fans, there are some things she wants to keep private.  After kicking her mother out of her reception on the finale of Don't Be Tardy for the Wedding, her mother threatened to sue for visitation to see her grandchildren.  While it's not known if her mother ever did actually take those measures, Kim remains optimistic that the pair can reconcile according to Wet Paint.

Kim explains, “There’s a lot of my life that I share publicly. This is part that I want to keep to myself. She’s my mom and she’ll always be my mom. You only get one.”

Hmmmm….I wonder if Kim wants to keep that situation private or if she wants to save it to play out on her new spin-off!

Oh, that Kim Zolciak Biermann from Real Housewives of Atlanta!  She's such a tease.  Is she getting her own show?  Was she fired from RHOA?  What's going on with her crazy mother?  If you want these questions and more answered, you're at the wrong place.

However, if you want the funny Kim you've grown to known and love through various Bravo shows, she's talking up a storm about the precious family you saw on Don't Be Tardy for the Wedding and some of her former friends.

Kim and her husband Kroy Biermann took new baby Kash to an Atlanta radio station where they were interviewed and fielded listener questions.  The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports on their visit.

When asked about expanding their family of six, Kroy joked about creating his own football team, saying, "We're halfway there!"

Kim adds, “You never know, I’m very blessed. Two boys and two girls, it doesn’t get any better than that. Who knows, there might be one more.”

Despite a strong effort on behalf of the host, Kim played coy about a future spin-off, sharing only that she'll be on next season's RHOA.  Of her over-the-top nuptials, she hedged on whether she spent a million dollars, revealing, “Our wedding was definitely very expensive. It was a great day.”

Also not a topic of conversation?  Any beef between Kim and her mother.  She does explain, “There’s a lot of my life that I share publicly. This is part that I want to keep to myself. She’s my mom and she’ll always be my mom. You only get one.”

Good gracious!  Is Kim running for office?  She seems so calm…and so normal!  What gives?  Has Kroy truly done the unimaginable and turned Kim into a grounded and likeable gal?  It appears so!  She refused to even speak ill of NeNe Leakes, telling the host, “We don’t speak and we are not friends. I wish NeNe well. We’ve been through a lot on ‘Housewives.’ She’s doing well.”  Is this invasion of the body snatchers?  I must say I like the new Kim!

Kim also discussed how her children are going to learn to work for things like she did, admitting, “Brielle’s 15. She wants a car so bad. She’s dreaming. I had to work. I got a job at 15 years old at Subway. I think that made me what I am today.”

Kim also puts to rest any chatter that she's been fired by recently tweeting, "I have a busy day tomorrow!! Filming tomorrow for RHOA!! Night Night tweethearts!"  Maybe she just missed picture day! 

TELL US-DO YOU THINK KIM IS PHASING OUT OF RHOA?  DO YOU LIKE THE SOFTER SIDE OF KIM?

Kim Zolciak is going to battle – and it's not with NeNe Leakes. It's with her own mother. A few weeks ago we reported that Kim's mother, Karen Zolciak, was taking her to court to seek visitation of her two grandaughters, Brielle and Ariana. 

Karen claims she scarcely sees the girls, whom she helped raise, and had never even met her newest grandson Kash Kade. Trouble began over Kim's wedding to Kroy Biermann. If you recall Kim threw her mom out of the wedding on Don't Be Tardy For The Wedding after Karen refused to used the state-of-the-art luxury port-o-potties and instead snuck into Kim's house (which she has since been evicted from because of the wedding!). 

Well, it seems things haven't been resolved and now Kim and Karen are in court. And it's getting nasty! TMZ reports that the Real Housewives of Atlanta star is now alleging her mom is an "unfit parent." And even worse Brielle (15) and Ariana (11)  have released a sworn affidavit that they don't want contact with their grandparents!

The documents provided by Kim and ko, include this statement from the girls: "We both love our grandparents, but due to their actions at the wedding of [Kim and Kroy] … we have grown apart."

Apparently the girls also claim they're too busy to bother seeing their grandparents and overnight visits (which Karen was requesting) are too time consuming. 

Karen also made claims that Kim was using her daughters and forcing them into the spotlight to fuel her own reality TV career (you think?). Well, the girls also contest this claim, citing:  "We do not live a crazy or abnormal life. We are not forced to appear on television with our mother."

In response to Karen's allegations Kim and her daughters are requesting a judge throw out the case as it has no merit. Kim also wants Karen to cover her legal costs. 

Well, um… this is classy. Do we really think MINOR children should be making statements like this about their grandparents? Personally, I think this family needs to see a counselor and resolve this.

TELL US – DO YOU THINK KAREN HAS A CASE? DO YOU THINK KIM'S DAUGHTERS REALLY DON'T WANT A RELATIONSHIP WITH THEIR GRANDPARENTS? 

You know how when one door closes, another door opens?  The same can be said for Housewives!  If you're like me, you're gearing up to watch the Real Housewives of Atlanta to see the craziness that will surely ensue.

You may also be wondering how much we're going to be seeing of Wig Kim Zolciak.  She wasn't in the cast promotional photo, so how much can we expect to see her on the actual show?  Given the fact that she was pregnant during the filming of the fifth season and rumored to also be working on the second season of her spin-off, I'm guessing we're not going to be seeing too much of her.

Of Kim, an insider tells Wet Paint, “She didn’t film that much. It was a difficult pregnancy and she was under doctors orders to rest.”

From the sound of things, Kim wasn't devastated to be out of the mix.  The same source adds, “She was happy to be home nesting. She’s 100 percent in family mode right now. She was grateful for the chance to withdraw from a lot of the nastiness that sometimes comes with filming the show.”

Tamara Tattles echoes the same, although she asserts that Kim is a full-fledged housewife, and not a "friend."  She makes a good point asking of whom she'd be a friend?  Tamara confirms that Kim has an infamous peach toting intro, and she does film a good bit…just not with the other women.  Tamara's seen the first episode, and I don't want to give too much away, but Kim's scenes seem to be mainly with Kroy and her family.

Of course, it wouldn't be Kim if she wasn't insulting someone…and Kandi Burruss gets the brunt of it on the first episode.  It seems Kim has A LOT to say about Kandi's new home…and the fact that she bought it out of foreclosure. The irony of her taking issue with this as she's being forced out of her rental house isn't lost on me.  FYI, Kandi's place has an indoor pool, so I have no clue what Kim could even say about it!

Reality TV star Kendra Wilkinson got in the Halloween spirit this week, Tweeting her excitement over her Halloween "costume". 

Kendra showed off some pics on Twitter, sharing the progression of her airbrushed/painted on costume coming together.  "I'm backkkkkk bitches! Halloween babyyyyyy.  Who can guess what I'm doing….or what I'm being??"

Can we really call it a costume if there are no clothes involved?  Where does one wear such a "costume"? Your kids' school Halloween party? Maybe she partied at the Playboy Mansion.  Perhaps babysitting for Kelsey Grammer? 

Kendra's artwork reminded me of Kim Zolciak's nearly-naked homage to her hubby, Kroy Biermann.
